Ruth Moton is, and has always been, a go-getter. She has set her standards very high, and will continue to fight for change until the vision has been reached. The unfortunate Pandemic and Lockdown was valuable in showing us how little our local leaders do. If there was ever a time to step up and serve constituents, it was during the lockdown. Instead, our district is worst off. Many businesses have closed, many struggle to survive day to day, and our children have fallen through the cracks. As a leader, being able to pivot and address emergencies is a must! Both my work and personal life experience has taught me how to handle all types of situations. We, the people of the 159th district can NOT afford to elect those we like! We need change and we deserve better!

Save Chester Water Authority
Chester Water Authority (CWA) is under attack. The Kirkland Family is behind this "hostile takeover". Our State Rep. has refused to stand up for those he serves. Brian Kirkland has ignored the pleas for help from constituents. This shows whose side he is on.
The for-profit corporation previously known as Aqua America is attempting to takeover CWA, which will result in higher rates, loss of the Octoraro reservoir, and a loss of control over our public water.

The stakes are too high to ignore any longer. Our children and grandchildren are sick from pollution in the air - at a higher rate than the rest of PA. This is unacceptable, and presents unnecessary health risks that harm our community.
In addition to addressing environmental concerns, we need to invest in the future of our children. We can help reduce poverty and incarceration rates by updating public school curriculums and ensuring a quality education for every child. Education is not a privilege that should be granted to those who can afford it - it is a right and necessity that should be afforded to all children.
